INSTALLATION NOTE OF

FRESNEL FOCUSING SCREEN

注意：你需要小型的螺絲起子與鑷子，請先準備好工具，千萬別粗魯的對待你的照相機。桌上舖一張白紙，可以預防遺失小零件。

WARNING: YOU need fine screw drivers and tweezers to complete the job, get it ready first, never be rude on your camera. Covering the desk with a white sheet of paper is a good precaution of missing any tiny parts.

首先拆下腰平、眼平，或者附有測光的眼平頭。壓下兩側的突出按鈕，向後推可以拆下眼平觀景器。

First, remove the waist level viewfinder or prism. Push buttom in and back will remove this prism.

有三隻鐵片向下壓住鐵環，再向下固定住對焦屏。需要小心的拆下這三支固定在前面後面的螺絲。
There are 3 studs press down the metal ring and the focusing screen. 2 in the back and 1 in the front side. Remove the 3 screws carefully.

從前方鐵環的銜接部位，用螺絲起子將他挑起，就可以取下鐵環，與對焦玻璃片。
Use screw driver to tilt up the metal ring in the front center, then remove the focusing screen.

觀察裂像對焦片，將毛玻璃的一面對著反光鏡，費氏透鏡(很細的同心圓)的一面對著上方。裂像線條沿著照相機的左右連線方向。將三個螺絲組裝回去就完工了。
Observe carefully the screen. Use ground glass side down to the mirror, and the fresnel lens side up (the side with fine circular wave). The split line of 2 split image should align camera left/right direction.

對焦屏使用屏下方的三個點支撐。由於原來對焦屏前方位置厚度比這一片增亮屏厚2mm的關係，我使用橡皮墊片墊在鐵環與屏中間，其實那是擦鉛筆用的橡皮擦。後方的厚度沒有問題。

The screen is supported by 3 points underneath, one on the front and 2 on the rear side. To compensate the 2mm thickness difference of the Fresnel screen and origional screen on the front side, I introduced a rubber between the origional metal ring and the new screen. Actually that is an part of Eraser of my son's pencils. There is no thickness problem on the rear side.
